- New holes at midnight US Central time: a front or back nine from one course, set for the whole day.
- The same for every player: every pin, every gust of wind and every bounce follows the same rules for everyone.
- Your first round is your score. It goes on the day’s leaderboard and the weekly board.
- Your progress is saved. Close the tab and you’ll pick up on the same shot.
Holes with real shape
Every daily hole is rebuilt from open map and elevation data, from courses inspired by real-world layouts. So the doglegs, bunkers, ponds and green slopes are the ones that hole actually has. No two days play the same.
The daily holes play from forward tees. Par 3s are 200 yards or shorter, and par 4s and par 5s play about 12% shorter than the back tees. You can reach more greens, make more birdies and finish a round in about five minutes.
How to play a hole
Each shot takes three taps: lock your aim, set your power, then time the curve. The club is picked for you and you can change it. Wind moves the ball, the rough takes off spin, and a big hook can find the trees. On the green, read the slope and putt. Anything inside five feet is a gimme.
The daily par 3
There’s one more daily hole: Closest to the Pin. One par 3 a day with the same pin and wind for everyone. You get five tee shots, and your closest counts on its own leaderboard.
